Hello everyone.
I’m aware I haven’t posted in over a month, and there are many reasons for that. Summer, vacation, sports, and even a new blog.
Which leaves me with no time for this blog anymore. Yes, I am officially quitting. Who knows how many times I’ve said that, but this time it’s the real deal. I’m 14 now, and am going into high school next year, so I can’t being worrying about a blog about a computer game.
But let me say this- it was a great run and a wild ride managing this blog. I made some friends, and I made some enemies- and some friends turned into enemies. (I know that last part sounds bad, but it was out of my control, lol.) I learned a lot about blogging and writing, which, looking back, should have been the sole purpose of this blog in the first place. But, I simply blogged out of my interest in Club Penguin and how fun it was. I didn’t realize that I was getting more and more experienced along the way, but now, with a new blog up and running, I do realize that. So this blog actually served a greater purpose to me than I expected it to, and I’m thankful for that.
But, Club Penguin was fun. I probably played it for nearly five years and saw nearly all of its changes along the way. Club Penguin- kind of like this blog- got more experienced along the way as well, which is why it was, and still is, able to make changes to make the game better.
Anyway, now I’m speaking as if this blog’s purpose was to give me blogging and writing experience (which it did), but that wasn’t the case, at least early on. As I said earlier, I made a lot of friends. Boarder34, who I already knew in real life, talked me into blogging, and I have to thank him for that. Superjoe123, who I also knew in real life (but am no longer in contact with), blogged along side me for quite some time, and it was fun. Then, there were a few friends I met online- Corvette12345, Djsplash/Kleerofski, Kostaleka, and Logdog5 are the highlights of them- who were a huge part of my blogging experience (and great friends on Club Penguin). I am no longer in contact with any of them, since Corvette12345 and Kostaleka both deleted their blogs, and Djsplash and Logdog5 both betrayed me somewhat. None of them are blogging at this point, as far as I know. But I’ll probably still always remember them.
Nearly four years ago, when I created my first blog, I had no idea what I was in for. Now, four years later, and with about 7,000 hits total between my first and second blogs, I see I made the right choice in deciding to create a blog. Five years ago, I thought Club Penguin was stupid. Five years later, I see that my friends were right in taunting me into playing it. But, being 14, now seems like the right time for me to stop.
So, I’d like to thank everybody who has viewed this blog. You guys are what kept me going and gave me those 7,000 hits. As I said earlier, it was a great run, and I almost wish I could keep going. And also, as I said earlier, I’ve said “I’m quitting for good” more times than I can count. But, at this point, this is it.
Now, for the final time…
That’s all.
