This site is a remake of an old site that was deleted. The main topics are Club Penguin and Naruto, along with occasional polls and blog updates. As of right now, we have no active authors- feel free to apply to me directly if you wish to be one. If not, there will more than likely be author contests in the future- but I’ll have to wait until this blog gets more popular.
Now, here’s a bit of history about the site itself. This site was originally created in November of 2008. It was pretty slow at first because I only posted about Club Penguin. I did this for a few months, then in around January (I don’t remember the exact month), I started posting about Naruto. After I posted my first Naruto manga spoiler, the site immediately got more hits in one day than it did in over the course two to three months. This lasted for awhile, but, it eventually started becoming somewhat slow again. I was still getting around 100 views a day, though.
Then, everything started to go downhill from there. Superjoe123, one of my friends in real life at the time, began to plagiarize my Naruto posts because of how popular they had gotten. Yet, he said he just got the idea from me and wasn’t actually copying me. However, his posts “just so happened” to have the exact same wording I used in my posts. Seeing this, I immediately reported his blog to WordPress. However, nothing happened and he continued to copy my posts. I attempted to report his blog a few more times, but, to this day, WordPress has done nothing.
After awhile, I noticed I wasn’t getting too many hits anymore. And, of course, Superjoe123 was getting tons of hits. I continuously told him to give me credit at the end of the posts considering there was nothing I could do to stop him. The only credit I ever saw him give me was, at the end of one of his posts (just one), this- “I give credit to Treeface40 too
” That was it. Obviously, it didn’t work, as I continued to get less and less hits.
I continued posting for maybe a month or two after. At that point, I had become friends with two other fellow WordPress users- Corvette12345 and Kleerofski (later known as Djsplash). However, my blog was getting such little views at that point that I was starting to get discouraged. Corvette12345′s blog had been deleted, and I eventually completely lost touch with him. Djsplash, meanwhile, was getting tons of hits, and I was happy for him (he didn’t plagiarize my blog, unlike Superjoe123). But, because of the lack of hits my blog had been getting, I didn’t see any point in continuing to post. Hence, I decided to quit (it was around March or April of 2009). I put up a post about me quitting, and gave a few people credit, such as Boarder34, who introduced me to WordPress, Djsplash, Corvette12345, and even Superjoe123. So that was the end, or so I thought.
Every now and then, I checked on the blog to see how it was doing. It eventually reached 5,000 hits, and I was pretty proud. Then I saw the number of spam comments and I completely changed my mind. I decided to delete my blog- for good.
Then, maybe a month or two later (it was around May), I couldn’t get over myself and decided to remake my blog. It’s remake is the blog you are currently reading.
Sadly, when I returned, things had changed quite a bit. Djsplash had apparently gotten rid of me as an author and would not accept me back when I returned. Most of my friends had stopped posting, but I continued to post for awhile despite these changes. Then, sometime around late 2009, I quit again. However, before 2009 ended, I came back and started posting until January of 2010. After that, I left without giving anyone notice (then again, I didn’t really have anyone to give notice to). Now, in April of 2011, I’m back to posting, and hopefully will be fore awhile.
